Gssh! Gssh! Records fue creado a principios de 2001 en Madrid pero no llego a editar nada hasta el 2002...bastante triste, lo se. En un principio nacio bajo el nombre de The Holy Cobra Society, un sello capitaneado por un servidor y Nacho (que aun sigue editando discos a bandas inernacionales y nacionales bajo ese mismo nombre). Por diversas razones, y una diferencia de gustos musicales con mi colega Nach Da Scratch, decidi crear mi propio sello musical y llevarlo por caminos diferentes. Simplemente queria hacer lo que me diese la gana y esa fue la unica manera de poder hacerlo. Asi nacio Gssh! Gssh! Records, amigo!.
Ahora, para aquellos que no lo sepan el sello tiene un nuevo hogar. Hemos recogido todos nuestras cosas y nos hemos venido a vivir a Lisboa que se vive la mar de bien y se es feliz.
Por que nos hemos mudado?...no te importa.
Me gustaria poder sacar un monto de discos pero todavia soy un sello underground pequeñito y necesito crecer mas. De hecho lo estoy haciendo, pero el dinero siempre es un problema.
Y te estaras preguntando :¿a que viene este nombre?...y yo te dire: "Es una larga historia sobre Francia, casas y comadrejas!".

BORN IN: Madrid, Spain.
Gssh! Gssh! Records was founed in early 2001 in Madrid but never got to release anything until 2002...pretty sad, I know!. It first started under the name of Holy Cobra Society , run by me and Nacho (that still keeps releasing stuff for foreing and national bands in it). For several reasons, and a some music differences with my colegue Nach da Scratch, I decided to create my own label and make it take a different way. I just wanted to do what I whised and that was the only way I could do it.This is how Gssh! Gssh! Records started, my friend.
Now, for those who still dont know, the label has a new place called home. We have got our shit together and moved to Lisbon where life is great and everyone is happy.
Why have we moved?..mind your own bussines.
I would like to release so much stuff but to be honest, I am still a pretty little underground record label that needs to grow more. I do, actually, but money is always a big problem!.
And you might be asking yourself: What about the name?...and I´ll tell you: "It´s a long story about France, houses and weasels".

Utilizamos el termino GSSHAUS! para todo lo relacionado con lo que hacemos y tiene lugar en nuestras vidas. Es una especie de Mundo Gssh! que esta ocurriendo, una realidad paralela a la que vivimos. Significa todo nuestro trabajo, sueños y planes futuros. Todas las actividades, conciertos, discos y metas. De nuestros amigos, gente cercana llena de ilusion y sentimiento.
A dia de hoy hay dos secciones importantes: LaGsshaus! (localizada en Madrid) , madre las has HAUSes, donde el espiritu real surgio y LaGsshaus!WEST (Localizada en Lisboa) , ahora inactiva hasta la fecha.

We use the term GSSHAUS to involve everything in relationship whit what we do and takes place in our lifes. it´s kind of a Gssh-world that is happening. It means all our work, dreams and future plans. All the activities, shows, records and goals. Of our friends and close people with illusion and feeling.
Nowadays there are two important sections: LaGsshaus! (located in Madrid), mother of all the HAUSes, where the real spirit was born and LaGsshaus!WEST, now inactive today.

Vale, este chico llamado como un chimpance de circo es el fundador original de todo este mundo estraño que aparentemente no tiene ningun sentido. Ha estado intentando alimentar el sello, cuidarlo, pagar sus caprichos... desde el principio pero supongo que podriamos llamarlo MAL PADRE porque todo podria ir mejor y mas discos podrian haberse editado. Siempre lo hace todo ir despacio, los pedidos nunca a tiempo, algunas veces no contesta a los mails, odia recibir spam y demos/canciones de mierda online y realmente odia hacer webs.

Ok, this guy named like a chimpanze from a Circus is the original founder of all this weird non sense world. He has been trying to feed this project since the beginnig but I guess we can all call him a BAD FATHER because things could be better and more records could have been released. He always makes it slow, orders never in time, sometimes does not answer to the emails, hates getting spam and crap like demos /songs online and really hates doing websites.

Este magnifico señor es el encargado de poner los pies en la tierra, de ponerse nervioso tambien cuando las cosas no marchan, de meter presion y de hacer posible que la marea no se lleve todo a ninguna parte. Gracias a el esta fragil montaña de naipes sigue en pie y si no fuera por el todo se vendria abajo como la Torre de la Emperatriz Infantil en Fantasia. Es el Bastian de la musica y sin ella su corazon podria morir. Le ha vuelto a dar nombre al sello y a resurgido como un Ave Fenix tocando el acordeon. Si lo veis por la calle, dadle un abrazo. Es vida.

Facye! This magnificent man is in charge to have our feet on earth, to get nervous when things go wrong and push everything forward so all this does not get nowhere swept out to sea by the current. Thanks to this guy this playing cards mountain does not fall and if it wasnt for him it would just crash like The Empress Tower in Fantasia. He is the Bastian of music and without it his heart could die. He has given a new name to the label and it has rised like the Phoenix bird playing the acorddeon. If you see this kid on the strees, hug him. Its life.
He invests a lot of money too, just to let you know!.
 
Esto esta actualemente MUERTO! SE FUE!...
Esta historia empezo cuando Gssh! Gssh! se dio cuenta de que Madrid necesitaba conciertos y que muchas bandas de las que eramos fans deberian venir a tocar a España. Nos estabamos perdiendo un monton de cosas que ocurrian por ahi asi que decidimos crear esta especie de plataforma, ayuda o como quieras llamarlo y disfrutar de algo tan sencillo como la musica en directo, propuestas y actuaciones.
Bajo este estupido lema simplemente intentamos que la gente se diera cuenta de que esto funcionaria si todos participabamos. Necesitabamos ayuda, todo el mundo necesita ayuda y deberiamos permanecer unidos. Con ese apoyo fue como los conciertos pasaron, como hoy en dia pasan y como pasaran en un futuro.
Gsshers, UNITE! ya no existe como tal. Ahora, tras el nacimiento de la Gsshaus!West las cosas han cambiado y bajo este lema es como ahora nos reconoceras. El espiritu es el mismo, simplemente los tiempos han cambiado. Aun asi, UNETE!.

This story began when Gssh!Gssh! decided that Madrid needed some shows and that many of the bands we liked should come and play in Spain.We were missing quite a lot stuff that was taking place around so we decided to create this kind of plataform, help o however you want to call it.
Under this stupid theme we just wanted to make people realize that this shit works if we all take place in it. We needed help, everyone needs help, we all should stay together. Supporting it is how shows keep on happening.
Gsshers, UNITE! does not exist anymore. Now, due to the birth of LaGsshaus!West things have changed and under this new name is how you´ll be able to recognize us. The spirit is the same, times have changed that is all. Anyway, UNITE!.
